Who remembers the Bob Segar tune "Shakedown"? Well, it came to mind as the pinkertonboys, Maui Gal, and Buddy the Geodog were driving home from the cabin and the SUV developed a death rattle and shaking in the front driver's side. We limped it back to this pullout and we were officially broken down.
BCAA towed the truck and my dad towed the trailer (he drove up from Abbotsford!) and we were on our way. Our 5-1/2 hour trip turned into an 11 hour trip, but as a friend said "if these things didn't happen, we wouldn't have anything to talk about".
We had four hours to pass at the side of the road, so we had ample time to hide a cache.
