Geocache Description:

“If you hide it...they will come.” And if you find this cache, the baseball is the log, so please sign the baseball.

Another cache at Portage’s “Field of Dreams” park. Twenty-four acres of open, developed land featuring new playground equipment, shelters, 1/2 court basketball, ice rink in winter, and three soft ball fields.

In “The Sandlot”, Scotty Smalls hits a ball deep over the fence into the neighbor’s yard. Unfortunately, it was not his ball, so the gang tries everything to retrieve it.

While this cache is a very long drive over the outfield fence from Field 2, hopefully it is easier to retrieve than Smalls’ baseball.

A medium size plastic ammo box out in the brush. Plenty of room for trackables and swag.

Since this is a baseball themed cache, the log is a baseball…so please sign and date the ball (in the plastic holder). Hopefully, I will have a nice NWI Geocacher Team-signed ball in no time.

The cache is stocked with baseball themed swag, and two Railcats flex tickets as first to find prize.
