This cache will bring you to the World Kite Museum! Each year for a week in August, the skies above Long Beach are filled with colorful kites of all shapes and sizes -- it's well worth planning a visit to enjoy this fun week-long festival and competition.
Did you ever wonder how aerial photos were taken in the early days of photography? Kites were used instead of modern-day drones, which was no small accomplishment considering the cameras used for these photos weighed up to fifty pounds!
