Geocache Description:

Red Clover is mostly over bloomed here, but there are still some, where they have mowed. The main reason for this cache is for you to enjoy the view.

Trifolium pratense, the red clover is a herbaceous species of flowering plant in the bean family Fabaceae, native to Europe, Western Asia and northwest Africa, but planted and naturalised in many other regions.

It is a herbaceous, short-lived perennial plant, variable in size, growing to 20–80 cm tall.

It is widely grown as a fodder crop, valued for its nitrogen fixation, which increases soil fertility. For these reasons, it is used as a green manure crop. Several cultivar groups have been selected for agricultural use, mostly derived from T. pratense var. sativum. It has become naturalized in many temperate areas, including the Americas and Australasia as an escape from cultivation.

Red clover is commonly used to make a sweet-tasting herbal tea.

The cache is tied in. It's a camoed "micro" pill bottle, containing only a plastic zip lock bag with a rolled log, that's held tight with a rubber band. Please keep track of it all, so you can put it back the way you found it. It helps to have the rubber band on your finger, when it's time to secure the nicely rolled log. BYOP and please, no tweezers as they kill the plastic. This is a P & G.
