This Cornell Plantations nature area is part of 3,400 acre network of preserves which managed to protect the full range of habitats found in the Finger Lakes Region for education, research and recreation. Within the 84 acre preserve, you can explore lake cliffs, forests, shrub thickets, meadows, and a gorge with a 35' waterfall.
This natural area was a 2003 gift to Cornell Plantations from Donald A. and Helen T. Edwards.
Please take care along the cliff edge, and if you are lucky like I was, you might spot a pair of foxes.
