Geocache Description:

Follow the well marked trails to the cliff edge where you will be rewarded with a gorgeous view of Cayuga Lake. Take the main red trail, keeping left. Turn left onto the yellow trail and follow until you are close to the cache. You are looking for a small lock-n-lock plastic box.

This Cornell Plantations nature area is part of 3,400 acre network of preserves which managed to protect the full range of habitats found in the Finger Lakes Region for education, research and recreation. Within the 84 acre preserve, you can explore lake cliffs, forests, shrub thickets, meadows, and a gorge with a 35' waterfall.

This natural area was a 2003 gift to Cornell Plantations from Donald A. and Helen T. Edwards.

Please take care along the cliff edge, and if you are lucky like I was, you might spot a pair of foxes.
