Geocache Description:

This cache is one of a number of music instrument related caches placed on the southern section of the R540 road in Gauteng province, South Africa. Take a drive out of the city and find the cache!

A banjo is usually a fretted stringed instrument having a narrow neck and a hollow circular body with a covering of plastic or stretched skin on which the bridge rests. The modern American banjo typically has four strings and often a short fifth string plucked with the thumb.

Well known South African banjo players are Glen Campbell and Carl Jackson.
