Geocache Description:

Cois Farraige is Irish for „beside the sea“. Enjoy finding this cache "beside the sea".

Lecanvey is a seaside village between Westport and Louisburgh located in the shadow of the holy mountain Croagh Patrick. It has everything you need: a church, a pub, a school and a lovely pier. The beauty of Lecancey Pier and its adjoining little golden strand is one of the best kept secrets of the area. Pop down and soak up the beautiful Clew Bay scenery of Clare and Achill Islands. And enjoy the fresh sea air. Don’t forget your swim gear and fishing rods as both is possible at this lovely location.
