Welcome to the main Pasadena post office on Route 66.
You need to go inside and find the banks of post office boxes. There a lot of old P.O boxes here and a lot of history. If you have time check out the old photos on the left and right sides of the walls just after you enter the building near the supply shop.
The post office is not open 24/7 however.
As per the sign on the window of the door behind the chain locked gates when the post office is closed:
P.O. Box Lobby Hours:
Mon - Fri. 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sat 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Ok. Here is the puzzle. I will give you a number that corresponds to a P.O. Box. Use that number as your anchor. This P.O. Box will be on the top left. Now if you know excel this will be easy. Using the numbers after the P.O. Box number you will count the boxes down (R-rows)and across (C-columns). Remember to count down first, then across.
The cache cache can be found at the following coordinates:
N 34 08.[P.O. Box 521] R-7, C-22
W 118 08.[P.O. Box 2521] R-5, C-7 the last 3 numbers]
Now with those numbers you can find the final cache.
You should seek the final on weekends.
