Close to my work there is a pair of nesting Bald Eagles. Each year they return to the same tree and continue working on thier nest and eaglettes are born. The City of Kent has been doing levee repairs along the river through town and when the work was finished they put in the perfect bench for watching the eagles. Many people come from all over the region to watch, film, and photograph these eagles. The levee trail is also used by bikers and walkers. The bench also happens to be right next to the bend in the road where James St. turns into Russell Rd. This area stays busy. Be discreet and watch for muggles when finding and replacing the cache. Cache is easy to find, but watch for muggles. They are everywhere here. So come and enjoy nature in an urban setting and celebrate one of our nation's symbols. Share your pictures of the eagles if you get a good one.
