Geocache Description:


After picking up and removing Thorny Wasteland which was archived in 2011, I thought this area could use another cache! This is way off trail. The easiest way to get here is to follow the trail towards the reservoir until you see an overgrown woods road heading off in this general direction. At some point the path is overgrown with barberry, but you can pretty much follow the contour lines over for a relatively easy bushwhack on level(ish) ground. That's after the steep uphill bushwhack. Or you can bushwhack straight up from the river. You're looking for a 50 caliber ammo can. Please hide it as well as if not better than you found it. For this one cache figure on a 2.5 - 3 mile round trip.
