Geocache Description:

"To Althea, From Prison" is a lyric poem on the paradoxical theme of freedom during imprisonment.

The building nearby is the visitor center, welcome to New Hope.

The object at GZ used to be inside the nearby white building, which was built in 1839 as the townhall, school, and jail. (i'm ok with politicians in jail, but students? Perhaps, the meaning is the opposite of the poem in the title and is a metaphor for my time in the grammar Nazi, Dr Jordan's English class.

My opinion of geocaches is that they should be something interesting, perhaps anice write-up, a funny or cute container, or scenic location or informative. Hope this meets with that criteria.

I thought I could kick it up a notch and make a puzzle to get even with [name redacted] for their puzzles but [name redacted] doesn't like puzzles.
