This will be a SUPER Flash Mob. It will, once again, be held at the Saturday Farmer’s Market at the Cypress Center field house. Be in place in the parking lot by 10:45.
Everyone has a favourite Superhero.
Superman, Batman, Captain America, The Flash, Green Lantern to name a few of the older ones, or one of the newer generation of caped cusaders. Don’t forget the ladies. Wonder Woman, Supergirl, or the anti villian Cat Woman.
This is not a complete list by any means and we would like you to come up with YOUR favourite Superhero. Pick one from the many who already exist or… come up with one of your own!
It can be anyone. We want you to think outside the box for this one! How about Super CPA, Super Mayor or a farm favourite.. John Deere or Combine Man? How about Harried Housewife? or Super Granny?
Of course, they will be in costume so we must make this a true flash mob and appear all at once (without anyone seeing us before hand?)
Since we don’t have a telephone booth in which to change, timing will be critical.
Everyone should wait, in costume, in their cars until 10:58 (set your cell phone alarm for that time, or watch for other superheores heading for the front door), then rush from their cars to the entrance of the farmer’s market. (everyone could set their alarm on their smart phone for the same time, would that work?)
The Mob of Superheroes will enter the Farmer's Martket at exactly 11 am. We will circulate (doing heroic things I hope) as some kind of superhero music plays over the PA system. When the music stops we will exit the Farmer's Market (to the cheers of the public I hope!) and gather for a group photo outside the building.
Once outside the building, turn right and assemble along the west wall of the fieldhouse for a group photo. You will also be given a 50-50 type ticket for later prizes (handed out at CARMH7.
If you have an unrecognizable superhero, wear your superhero’s name on your costume. We’re here for the fun and wow factor so let your imagination run wild. If you are afraid of being recognized, wear a mask.
