This stone was placed in the wall and was said to be the burial place of a witch, outside consecrated ground. The intials represent the church wardens when the wall was first built. Makes for a good story! The Church and its parishoners are currently working towards creating more community facilities by upgrading current facilities to include larger car parking, running water and a kitchen!
This can be either a single cache and dash or may be treated as a short series of 5/6 caches if Tidenham Station is included. Access to the additional caches close by can be gained via the footpath that runs across the church yard in front of the Church. From here you can enjoy one of many viewpoints looking out across the Severn estuary.
