Leave the car near the Dufftown Distillery and follow the sign to the food path towards Gordon's Cross. You will cross the Dullan and turn left.
First you will walk on a rarely used road, but soon you will find another sign to a small path to your right. There are two gates you can easy open and walk on a small foodpath uphill. It's a lovely walk, perfect to walk the dogs.
From futher uphill you will have a great view towards the Mortlach Distillery and Dufftown, as well to the beautiful countryside.
Near the final you will find a nicely overgrown metallic bench, but no cross. All you might see is the base of it, well! That's "all about that base".
