We used to take our geodog Amber on her favourite walk here.
The complete walk decends from the church to the water along the shore and through two woods. The walk can be continued around the whole peninsular or back on this road as a short cut. Superb views over Rutland Water are to be seen from the high points on the road.
I have placed the cache near the road from Hambleton village to the end of the peninsular so cache and dash is possible. You will need to bring a pen as there is no room in the container for one.
