This is a bit tougher than some because you must use data from two markers within sight of each other to determine the cache location, and, the location is a short drive away. I promise, if you have small children, the final location will be worth taking them along.
You can park at the coordinates listed but be advised it is a pretty heavily traveled road so hold on to the kids.
First, read the plaque affixed to the white cross at the listed coordinates. Make note of the year the Reverend Chaumonot preached and baptized there. This is mystery number "A"
Next, as you face the plaque, look to your right for a blue and yellow historical marker (about 25 yards away, a little NW or your location). Go and read about Ezra Wilmarth and note the year he opened his Inn at that location. This is mystery number "B"
Add numbers as indicated to the coordinates listed below to find the cache location.
Cache latitude: 42 54.992 plus mystery number "A"
Cache longitude: 77 22.912 plus mystery number "B"
