A medium sized geocache hidden on the equestrian/hiking trails of the Saugeen Bluffs Conservation Area. Named after the genus of trees that dominate this area.
In the summer of 2016 the Saugeen Bluffs Conservation Area developed several new kilometers of trails for horseback riding as well as hiking. This cache is located along one of the trails. Be sure to take a map of the trails before heading out. Parking is available within the campground at the southern end of the trails. The trails can be rough in spots and has plenty of steep inclines and a lot of stairs to climb. However the reward is a beautiful view of the Saugeen River, dubbed the "Bluffs Lookout". This cache is located along one of the interior trails and will require around an hour to get there and back if you choose to take the direct root.
