Geocache Description:

The China Grove Roller Mill was constructed in 1903. The main walls of the building are 22 inches thick. Bricks used during construction were made locally from Grants Creek. The mill has four floors, three visible above ground and a basement.  The machinery and equipment are all original and were in full operation until the mill closed in 1995. The building is filled with a dizzying amount of wooden chutes that were used to carry the grain or flour to lower floors for processing. All chutes were made of forest pine and are original as the building stands today. On December 29, 1993 the mill was placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior.

After finding the cache feel free to sit for a spell on the old park bench. Think of the good 'ol days and imagine the mill in it's hayday, with towns people strolling around, farmers bringing in their harvest, Just that feeling of a more simple life, than we live in nowadays.

This is not your average "run of the mill" type of cache.smiley  This is a very high muggle area so stealth is required.

Congrats to Night-Hawk for FTF!!
