Udney had a tornado in July of 2014 that Environment Canada confirmed an EF-1. The tornado touched down in this small community. Environment Canada says wind speeds reached 135-175 kilometres per hour. There were a number of trees down, roofs ripped off barns, and significant damage to this local baseball diamond.
This cache is placed in a place that I spent a lot of time in my childhood. From watching the trains , playing baseball, to riding my horses past it. It's a place that brings back so many memories for me. So I thought a cache here is appropriate. There are still baseball games held here often so you would have to use some extreme stealth if you're going to come during a game.
