We were out for a drive today to an area with a lot of family ties. SoBad spent a lot of time here with various family members in the past, especially fishing. Today we just explored the rock pools, visited the lookout - and left a cache.
If the cache had been thought about in advance, rather than made with what we had with us, we might have had something to tie it in place. Instead it is a larger micro placed in a spot we hope it will say for a while.
The above was what we wrote in June - but the cache was too close to the final of another cache.
Today we picked up the cache and moved it a few hundred metres to another spot. You don't see this view from there or even see the spot the first was placed in. You need to go a bit further to the rocky/sandy beach for that.
However, it is now in a spot that alludes to the history of the area so ties in with the original name. A stretch, but saved a name change.
You will need to check around for people as the spot is exposed from a couple of sides. However, you have a good excuse to be there reading and taking a photo on the phone.
