Himuro Shrine Traditional Cache

On the occasion of transfer of capital to Fukuhara, Taira-no-Kiyomori enshrined Ichikishimahime(ancient goddess of water) in this shrine, as one of seven Benten (goddess of music, wealth, etc.) in Hyogo.

Taira-no-Norimori(Taira-no-Kiyomori’s brother) built his second house here, where Goshirakawahouou(ex-emperor, later monk) was confined.

This shrine is also called “Ren’ai Benten”(goddess of love), and some people believe that here is the best spiritual place of love in Japan.
Cache is hidden in the park near the entrance path to the shrine. Visit the shrine after finding the cache.

平清盛が福原遷都の際、兵庫七弁天の一社として市杵島比売を奉斎した。
平教盛がここに別邸を建て、後白河法皇を幽閉した場所と言われています。

恋愛弁天とも呼ばれ、一部では日本最強の恋愛パワースポットとして有名です。
