Cachen er en tysk gasmaske beholder fra WW2, som blev efterladt af de tyske soldater, da de forlod Bornholm i maj 1945, efter at være blevet bombet og beskudt af de Russiske styrker, der herefter indtog Bornholm indtil den 5. April 1946
Once you have parked, do not go straight to the cache, but take a walk around the Defense Museum and enjoy the views of parts of Rønne Harbor and Kanondalen. The cache is a German gas mask container from WW2, which was left by the German soldiers when they left Bornholm in May 1945 after being bombed and shunned by the Russian forces, who then occupied Bornholm until 5 April 1946.
