Geocache Description:

This cache is one of a number of music instrument related caches placed on a side road to the southern section of the R540 road in Gauteng province, South Africa.

In music, the organ is a keyboard instrument of one or more pipe divisions, each played with its own keyboard, played either with the hands on a keyboard or with the feet using pedals.

Pipe organs use wind moving through pipes to produce sound. Non piped organs include the reed organ which uses air to excite free reeds. Electronic organs generate electronically produced sound through one or more loud speakers. Mechanical organs are controlled by pinned barrels or book music.

South African organists are Andrew-John Bethke and Richard Cock.
