Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the above advertised coordinates.

The Baudot code

baudot The Baudot code was the predecessor to the International Telegraph Alphabet No. 2 (ITA2). It used five BIT bytes (ie 2 to the power 5 OR a total of 32) as patterns to code data for use by TTY or on punched 11/16" paper tape. A hole represents a binary 1's digit and the absence of a hole represents a 0.

You need to research how these 32 patterns were used to represent 26 letter characters, 26 number and symbol characters and 5 other control characters!

Below is some paper tape that contains the information required for you to find the cache.

The cache is only small (no room for swaps) so bring your own pencil and maybe a tool to extract the log. This is a busy area so please ensure you aren’t seen retrieving or replacing the cache and that the container is placed back properly to prevent muggling.
BEWARE OF TRAFFIC.

Enjoy the challenge!!!
