You will be crossing State Trust Land so you will need to have an Arizona State Land Recreation Permit in you possession. One can be obtained here: https://land.az.gov/recreational-permit-portal
This cache is accessible via a dirt road off of Valencia (near Safeway). Use caution when driving through the area for the standard desert plants and critters. There are some deep ruts in the road from the rains so be cautious during monsoon season. Walking into this one can be tricky and once you arrive, you'll know why. Use caution when walking to the area. We like to hide them but don't like when our fellow cachers get hurt! If you continue on the road from this spot, there is a large homeless camp down the road a little. Pass at your own risk or turn around and go back the way you came in.
