Life's a Beach #7 - Teignmouth Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

heartradio: I'm afraid my geocaching life has been somewhat disorganised the last couple of weeks due other goings-on in my 'ordinary life' that go by the name of mock exams. Therefore there has been limited action I can take over checking whether this cache may have gone or not.
Checking up on this one, it looks like it had better go under what used to be the 'red traffic cone' for a while. If you know, you know! Anyway, it is impractical to keep replacing it in this spot, as unfortunately it keeps going missing.
I will endeavour to re-instate this Life's a Beach cache at some point in the future when I have sorted out Seaside Saunter - in the words of the Clash, "Should they stay or should they go?"

Teignmouth is a town and civil parish in Teignbridge in the English county of Devon, situated on the north bank of the estuary mouth of the River Teign about 14 miles south of Exeter. Records of Teignmouth date back to 1044, when the town was originally two separate villages, and currently it has a population of 14,749. In 1690, it was the last place in England to be invaded by a foreign power. The town grew from a fishing port associated with the Newfoundland cod industry to a fashionable resort of some note in Georgian times, with further expansion after the opening of the South Devon Railway in 1846. Today, its port still operates and the town remains a seaside holiday location.

Teignmouth sits at the end of the Templer Way, an 18 mile walking trail which traces the historic line of granite being taken from the quarries at Haytor to the docks at Teignmouth.
