GeoTot Plays at Richmond Green Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

mccabe97: Unfortunately the puzzle stage of this is gone with no new replacement there, and a final check shows that it looks AWOL too. A good, long run on this one.

Geocache Description:

GeoTot wanted to place another cache, so we worked on this one together; a simple puzzle at a playground with a nearby final at another one. Have fun!

Richmond Green is a major sports and play complex in Richmond Hill. Some of the fun things GeoTot and her family have done in this park include: soccer, baseball, skating on the skate trail, coming to concerts, playing at the many parks, walking through the children's garden, watching newly married couples getting photographs taken by the waterfall and stone bridge, and enjoying birding by the pond. There is also skateboarding, rollerblading, plenty of bike trails, a hockey arena, and many other choices for outdoor fun here; bring the family and solve her puzzle.

Her final cache includes many kid friendly items for trading: please trade equally or better so that other families can enjoy the swag too. There is ample parking available throughout, although it can get busy on tournament weekends.

This is a field puzzle: the cache is NOT hidden at the posted coordinates! At the first stage is a fun park for young children.

1) How many dinosaurs can you count?

2) How many penguins can you count?

3) How many yellow abacus beads can you count?

4) ADD all of those numbers together. If you have done this correctly you will end up with a number that ends with a four!

The puzzle is actually at these coordinates:

N 43 54.00__ W 079 24.__ __ __

5) SUBTRACT 120 from your answer. You will get a one digit number. This is the last number in your north coordinates.

6) ADD 43 to your answer. You will get a three digit number. These are the last three numbers in your west coordinates.

The final is a short walk away: good luck!

Congratulations to Ligum on the FTF!
