Geocache Description:

Some geocaches have been placed along the future Valley Line LRT.  This one is near the Davies Station and Park and Ride site.

The first phase of the Valley Line LRT is 13 km long and includes 11 stops, an elevated station, a park and ride site, a Tunnel from 102 Avenue to a bridge across the North Saskatchewan River, an maintenance facility, and a connection to the existing LRT line at Winston Churchill Square.  The location of this geocache is just south of the Davies elevated station, transit centre, and 1400 stall park and ride on the former Osmond Auction and Union Tractor sites.  The elevated portion of the LRT line will cross 75 St and the CN tracks before dropping to ground level at McIntyre Road immediately east of here.

TransEd Partners was hired by the City to build and operate the LRT for 35 years.  As of July 2016 construction has not started yet.  As construction proceeds if we feel the location becomes hazardous to access we will temporarily disable it.
