A northern Saskatchewan Lake paddling experience. This rarely visited lake is rich in waterfowl and vegetation.
There is no motorboat access but it can be acessed via Pelican Beach/campground. From there a vessel can be launched directly through the cattails which is tricky due to the boggy transition zone or one can launch into the Chitek lake on the other side, paddle about 100 meters due NE and then turn east, paddle under a small bridge through a shallow/narrow connector.
You are looking for a camouflaged bison tube on a boggy and grassy shoreline.
