Southerntrekker: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to recent logs I am archiving it.

The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported. Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center.

Geocache Description:


This is a wonderful opportunity to walk around the Rhug estate and enjoy the views. This walk can be done in sections if you do not wish to walk too far. If you wish to shorten your walk head for #16 (Alwen Lane) which will save you approx. 30 mins. WARNING – Cattle may be present along the walk. Please DO NOT use the gates unless necessary (No stile at that point) use the stiles provided. Sorry – Dogs only allowed if kept on a lead at ALL times as they can disturb the farm animals and wildlife. During heavy rainfall, the River Dee is likely to flood, therefore please be careful at these times. As you will be walking along sections of the River Dee please ensure children are kept away from the water. Many thanks to Rhug estate for allowing us to place these caches here.
