Ellis park is a very scenic park just outside the village of Yellow Springs. There is a nice pond for fishing and a couple of shelters for picnics and gatherings. Please stick to daylight caching only as the park closes at dusk.
This cache is hidden for all the cat and animal lovers among us. The original container was cat related but it should not bite or scratch. Now it is a camo plastic container
Park in the lot just off Polecat Rd and enjoy a little hike around the pond to the cache site. Do not try to walk across the spillway as there are signs up telling people not to do this. If you try to go to the south end of the park you would have to cross a small creek that can sometimes be quite high after a good rain. Enjoy your hike and as always be respectful of the area and follow the park rules.
