You are allowed to get out of your vehicle in Marloth Park but as this place is situated next to the Kruger Park, it often happens that some of Krugers animals may find it's way into Marloth.
If there is water in the dam, do not go near the edge as there may be a crocodile in it!!
At the time of placing the cache, there was a very severe drought and the water hole was empty. As we are frequent visitors to Marloth Park, we saw a crocodile in this little dam on previous occations. We do not know were it is at the moment but keep your eyes open when you retrieve the cache.
