This location is at the edge of a long park connector that links the end of upper east coast road to the quieter end of ECP. From upper east coast road, take a longgg victory march down the Guard Avenue to see Singapore very own's Elite forces, but don't dwell too long before you become too suspicious. :) 
This path is familiar to me as I (him) used to stay in Bedok camp in the past, and from within the compound, I often ponder why there are civilians running around the parameters late at night and hence decided to explore this route myself. This park connector can be slightly hot in the morning but you will get a nice sea breeze from one side and fresh air through the golf course from another. The GZ will lead you to the edge of Singapore glory where the guard resides, we strongly recommend not to park your car along the Expressway but to enjoy a healthy stroll along this path while going to East coast park or back. :)
Wanted to try hiding at a non-typical spot. At the GZ, things can get slightly dangerous. (but still ok for careful cachers) Please be very careful, and not attempt this cache if you are not comfortable with risk, and not recommended if it just rained. Safety comes first. Also, be careful when extracting and putting back the cache at its original spot as well.
