2016 marks the 10 year anniversary of Grandpa's passing. I have placed this geocache in honour of a much loved pa who is always in our thoughts & memories. When my daughter was little she couldn't say grandpa & "pa" was easier for her to say. So she called him pa. Next my son was born and once he started to speak the name "pa" stuck.

One of our favourite activities was having a picnic with him at this park. We would eat, play games & walk along the beach. We sure do miss all the fun we had with him; his funny stories & singing. He was always looking for a cup of tea on these picnics. Hence the cache is in a camo'd Tetley tea container.
Grandpa said grace before each meal & his favourite blessing is one that I use often: Lord Jesus bless the food upon these dishes, as you blessed the loaves & the fishes, And as the sugar gets lost in the tea, Let our lives be lost in thee. Amen.
The cache is located at beautiful Nelles Beach Park. It is a great spot for a picnic, swim in the lake, to take the dog for a walk, game of volleyball or for the little ones there is a boat shaped playground. The park is also host of Sabaru Triathlon in July & Iron Girl in August. On a clear day you can see the CN Tower from the beach.
