The cache is located nearby the walking track between Laanila and Saariselkä.

Kätkö on osa Laanila - Saariselkä kävely- ja pyöräilyreitille perustettua trailia. Laanila - Saariselkä reitin pituus on noin 3,9 km ja se kulkee pääosin asutusalueiden kautta, joista Vanhaselkä sijaitsee reitin keskivaiheilla runsaan kilometrin päässä Saariselän keskustasta.
