Birkenhead Domain and Eskdale Bush Scenic Reserve have native trees, nikau palms and ti-trees. The sounds of the bush and the stream give you the illusion of remoteness (just maybe not in this spot as you can clearly hear vehicles using the nearby roads). The main track is in good repair, and the minor tracks have loose stones and roots. Sturdy shoes are recommended. Expect mud in winter! Be prepared for dog walkers (dogs on-leash).
Not sure if there was actually a 'Norma A. Cache' but our 1st official cache found as Kiwiscot19 in NZ was Norma B. Cache in our local park. It has since been archived but the hides camouflage was not removed so we have recycled and used it in this hide. We would also like to thank Treegonning for the idea in creating this cache. We assume there is no copyright attached to their creations.
You are looking for a regular sized container attached to the above mentioned camouflage. Water is getting inside the container so we have removed the travel bugs and small swaps for now. Hope to rectify this at some stage. Let us know how you go and we hope you at least enjoy the walk

Note: The GPS signal bounces all over the place in this spot. If you are using a smart phone we have added a hint photo which will put you close to the hide.
