[ITA] Arco della Pace - Movida notturna e Storia

[ENG] Arch of Peace - Night Movida ad History

[ITA] L'Arco della Pace è un arco trionfale di Milano situato all'inizio di corso Sempione.
Dedicato alla pace tra le nazioni europee raggiunta nel 1815 con il congresso di Vienna, fu inaugurato il 10 settembre 1838 con una fastosa cerimonia presieduta dall'appena incoronato imperatore Ferdinando I d'Austria. L'Arco della Pace rappresenta uno dei maggiori monumenti neoclassici di Milano.

Curiosità
La posizione dei cavalli che trainano il carro della pace è stata modificata dagli Asburgo. Per farsi beffa dei francesi, i cavalli sono stati ruotati di 180 gradi affinché il fondoschiena fosse orientato verso la Francia. (cit Wikipedia)

Movida
La zona dell’ Arco della Pace è un esempio di “big movida milanese”. Locali, persone, giri loschi o meno, compagnie di ragazzi, gente che fuma, che suona musica e che ride.

Si integra con la vegetazione presente nel parco. Si trova dentro il parco, quindi fate riferimento agli orari di apertura e chiusura. Vedete foto allegata.
Nel caso doveste rimanere chiusi dentro uscite dove è presente la cache GCMTXQ (non ufficiale)

[ENG] The Arco della Pace in Milan is a triumphal arch located at the beginning of Corso Sempione.
Dedicated to peace between European nations reached in 1815 with the Congress of Vienna , it was inaugurated September 10, 1838 with a grand ceremony chaired by the newly crowned Emperor Ferdinand 1st of Austria . The Peace Arch is one of the greatest neoclassical monuments in Milan .

Curiosity
The position of the horses pulling the chariot of peace has been changed by the Habsburgs . To mock the French, the horses have been rotated 180 degrees to so the ass was oriented towards France . (Cited Wikipedia )

Movida
The "Arco della Pace area" is an example of "big nightlife in Milan " . Local , people , shady deals or not , companies of boys , people who smoke , playing music and laughing .

It is not easy to find because it integrates with the vegetation in the park
The cache is INSIDE the park. pay attention to Opening Hours. See table attached
In case of remain closed "into the park" follow the cache GCMTXQ that is a unofficial exit
