Geocache Description:

***Warning*** No need to go onto the railway tracks at the final. This is a working railway line so please take extreme care to stay near to the road Watch that Cachling stay away from the tracks.

 

There is nothing at the published coords but you will need to add the last two digits of the year the station was opened to the South and the year it was closed to the East.

BYO pen and you are looking for a camo mint tin. This is a park and grab.

Just to the south of GZ was the location of the Islaington Station. It had sidings into the Islington Freezing works still visible on the other side of the road. Some of the tracks are still visible in the road near GZ. The station had 4 tracks. Around GZ there are remains of railway activity.
