Bakarski zaljev, zaljev u sjevernom Jadranu (Riječkom zaljevu), nastao potapanjem dijela vinodolske udoline. Eliptična je oblika (smjer pružanja sjeverozapad–jugoistok), dug 4,6 km, širok 600–1100 m, najveća dubina 40 m. S Riječkim zaljevom povezan 600 m širokim Bakarskim vratima. Izložen jakoj buri, duž sjeveroistočne obale brojne vrulje. U sjeverozapadnom dijelu nalazi se grad i luka Bakar, u jugoistočnom Bakarac. Nekoć važan lov na tune, o čemu danas svjedoče ostaci tunera.
Ovaj vidikovac je prvi morski vidikovac na silasku sa auto ceste iz kontinentalne Hrvatske.

Bakar Bay, the bay in the northern Adriatic (Rijeka Bay), was created by partial flooding part of Vinodol valley. It has an elliptical shape (direction of NW-SE), 4,6 km length, width from 600 to 1100 m, maximum depth of 40 m. Connected with Bay of Rijeka by a 600 m wide Bakar door. Exposed to strong bora, along the northeastern coast there are numerous submarine springs. In the northwestern part the city and port Bakar is situated, in southeastern Bakarac. Once it was important spot for tuna fishing and today the tuna spotting places are remained as witnesses of this activity.
