A walk by the creek Traditional Cache

Park your car on Bath Street and take a short walk to this cache.  It is a lovely spot where local dog walkers and locals love to explore.  Many of the local kids have built amazing cubby houses in this area and there are a few little trails to discover if you feel so inclined.  Be careful of the ants though - they have a nasty bite!

I have always loved this little wild area - sometimes you can spot kangaroos, wallabies, snakes and even koalas. (We once saw a koala and he climbed quickly up a pine tree to escape our interest - he moved quickly to a more appropriate location!)  If you decide to explore, in the warmer weather ticks can be a problem so check when you get home!  Unfortunately, we don't know how long we will get to keep this area as the council have subdivided it all so we may lose it one day.  Until then, we will enjoy the bush in its beauty!
