Couldn't believe there was no cache out this neck of the woods. A beautiful spot popular with boaties & fisherman.
Diamond Head, home to one of the most succesful 500cc Moto GP World Champions- Mick Doohan. This elevated area is bordered by Coomera river to the South, Pimpama River to the north, Jewel creek to the east & McCoys creek to the North/West.
This Cache is situated at the North/East corner of Diamond Head & is best accessed via the Boat ramp at the end of Coleman Rd, This Boat ramp is situated at the junction of McCoys Creek & the Pimpama River. From the boat ramp it is a short walk along the shore line to the GZ. However low tide would be a lot easier if you don't want to wade through some water. Designed for the land dweller, it is quite accessible by boat as well. Your looking for a small 175ml Sistema click lock container large enough to hold a log, pen & small items. There is no need to enter any Private Property.
For the very adventourous, a night time visit at nearly high tide should also reveal the odd Mud Crab. But remember, Mangroves mean lots of our eight legged friends. Hahahahaha.
