SideTracked - Gravelly Hill 2 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Optimist on the run: I checked this one just now and it seems to have gone missing. As I rarely pass this station nowadays, and it was getting few finds anyway, I've decided to archive it.

About SideTracked Caches

This cache belongs to the SideTracked series. It is not designed to take you to a magical place with a breath taking view. It's a distraction for the weary traveller, but anyone else can go and find it too. More information can be found at the SideTracked Website.

You are looking for a magnetic key holder, larger than usual.

About Gravelly Hill Station

Gravelly Hill station was opened in 1862 as part of the (then) London and North Western branch from Aston to Sutton Coldfield (later extended to Lichfield). Most stations on the line were rebuilt when the line was electrified in the early 1990s, but Gravelly Hill retains its original two storey booking office. A large white square is painted on the side of the road bridge on the platform side - this was used to improve visibility of an old fashioned semaphore signal before colour lights were introduced.
