The original building of All Saint's church burnt down in June 1349 during the Black Death plague. The re-built church is 14th Century perpendicular in style, and remains of the original church can still be seen incorporated in it. There is a cross base in the churchyard whose mouldings suggest it may be as old as Anglo-Saxon in date.

At the east end of the south aisle is a very beautiful carved font in the Perpendicular style.

A Memorial Window to 7th squadron Royal Flying Corps (and latterly RAF) and a Book of Remembrance were dedicated at a service at All Saints’ in November 1993. The Book of Remembrance contains the names of the 72 Squadron personnel who fell in WWI and the 1011 who died in WWII. The Book rests in a cabinet constructed in English oak.

In 2003 the future of this church was in doubt when the roof of the nave collapsed. but a 'Friends of All Saints’ Church' was formed, and after restoration, the church was re-opened on 30 September 2007.
