This geocache is in a Free Crown Land Campground on Kasshabog (Kosh) Lake's north end that you could drive to from County Road 46 on a dirt/sand road. However, we placed it by canoe using a path coming up from the water.
If you are just coming for the day to canoe, use the boat launch co-ordinates and instructions given in #1 of this paddle series on Kosh Lake. 
If you choose to camp here, please keep the following in mind: It is rugged. There are no washrooms. The best spot is on the peninsula, but lots of locals know it and grab that spot, occupying it for weeks at a time. There are usually other spots with firepits, but there is no maintenance (that's why it's free), so do everyone a favour and clean up. Also, the closest General Store is several kilometres away, so bring in your own food and water to make your stay enjoyable. The bugs are bad up north until mid August. September is lovely and if you don't mind the cold, October can be nice too and chances are, you will have the entire campground to yourself by then. Kosh Lake is stocked with small mouth and large mouth bass, as well as musky and other types fish. I saw a good-sized lake trout swim by the canoe. There are bears, but there are also cottages around this area, so it's not too remote. Good luck getting cell phone coverage, though !
The geocache is a few metres off the dirt road (trail) towards the water, on the edge of a campsite. If there are campers there, just introduce yourself and what you are doing, and who knows, they might just invite you to share a beer and fresh fried fish. Remember, you have as much right to be there geocaching as they have to be there squatting.
