Geocache Description:

A short bike ride or about a 1km walk from the O2 Arena or parking close by.

This is a Traditional Cache, The container is now a 35mm pot held in place with Velcro.

An area steeped in maritime history Vaizey's Wharf\Castle's yard was a ship breakers for many years and it is rumoured that Pirates were hung\Gibbeted here.
A view from the local pub's garden down to the foreshore (at low tide) shows the remains of the "Duke of Wellington" a 131 gun ship of the Royal Navy.

The previous CO's company has just moved into the area, and the original cache here was missing, so it was great opportunity to put a new one in the same spot, so you may be getting a deja-vu moment!!

This one has been muggled a few times previously so I have placed it out of sight. To maintain this cache's integrity, please replace exactly as found, Many Thanks, RamsPadge.

Congratulations to gullands on FTF on 14th August 2016.
