This cache has been placed in honor of MSgt Barbara Claudel, who has retired from her position as the Maine National Guard Family Program Coordinator and Maine National Guard Youth Camp Coordinator, which has been running now for 17 years. The camp is only for National Guard children and provides training and fun for many youth, showing them how to do rapelling, kayaking, geocaching and more. It is also to enjoy other children's company whose families all go through a parent or parents deployment situations.
This is a large cache, and I've included a few starter items in it for trading. Next year, the children will have this as part of their geocaching experience.
