Immediately north of the Lammas lands, Frith Hill is a hillside and hilltop residential neighbourhood that contains seven listed residential buildings . A converted water tower, two small cemetery chapels, railings and gates form three separate Grade II listings which are on the town-side hill slope.
The nearby water tower was opened by Lord Midleton of Peperharow Park in 1880. In 1988 the then disused water tower was purchased from Thames Water. Elspeth Beard, an award winning architect, hoped to turn it into a six storey home. It took her six years to complete and the outcome included two staircases to meet fire regulations, custom made windows and a new roof
Congrats to the three FTFs who I believe all arrived at the same time (Coin-Man, Prawm & RoamingJAH)!
