Fiskhóll Traditional Geocache

This is so beautiful place from where you can see all the mountain circle in Höfn. I was raised in one of the houses on this hill so I have many good memories from this spot. You can also see the old watertank which was built in 1949. It was replaced for new one in the 90s' and you can see the new one above the camping site in Hrossabitahagi, which is the forest you can see from this spot..

The is located on a hill in the town Höfn. It's easy to get there by walking up to this small hill. The box originally was small and had some cool things in it to switch on and the logbook was homemade. Unfortunately the cache broke and got all wet. Some nice fellow geocacher changed it to for a very small one, but it's little bit harder to find when it's small so it's maybe a more fun for some of us. You can still enjoy the view from Fiskhóll, it's fantastic in a good day ..
