While out paddling around and placing some caches around Jim's Island and Shorty's Slough, we actually saw a shark in this area. It wasn't a very big one. Maybe five feet in length, if that. So don't worry, if it's still around when you come looking for this cache, you won't have much to worry about. Anything much larger then this little guy, can't swim in the shallow water here. You're more likely to see plenty of fish, crabs and rays in this shallow area.
The cache is located in shallow water. At low tide, you may have to exit your boat and approach ground zero on foot. After signing the log, please be certain to reseal it's protective pouch, as well as the top of the container, and replace the cache back inside it's host. BYOP.
