PRS "Old Dike" Redux Traditional Cache

You will be walking on the old levee on the Puyallup river to get to this cache.

My good friend (GEMS), and my son planted many caches on this levee in the infancy of geocaching. One of the surviving caches is just down the levee, "PRS: "IN" the Cottonwoods" gcg80h. Almost all of his caches got disabled when the new levee was built, so i thought i would replace one in honor of his work early in the game..

This old levee was not able to hold the water back during high water times. The Calistoga setback levee is the new one you will see as you park. 

THE CACHE IS ON THE OLD LEVEE. It doesnt look much like a levee anymore after they got done rehabbing it. They do not maintain the old levee so at some times during the year this could be more of a bushwhack than others. There is a small trail through the brush to get close to the cache then carefully find your way to the GZ. 

This cache is inside the Calistoga setback levee, so know that the cache is not laying on the ground.
